Griffiths & Hartley Workshop for The Junior Pro Program @ Pro Coach Cricket and the Yorkshire Cricket Board

As the cricket pre-season is underway for most local clubs across Yorkshire, Griffiths and Hartley would like to keep you updated to as to what we have been doing in the winter months regarding cricket.

On the 14th November 2015 we presented a 'Bowling and fast bowling injuries' module for the Yorkshire Cricket Board at Headingley. The course was attended by club coaches from across the county and was kingly organised in conjunction with Pro-Coach.

The day was a success and it was a pleasure to work alongside Andrew Gale (Yorkshire 1st ix Captain) and Richard Pyrah (Yorkshire player and now head women's coach). This course was the first of its kind in the country and we are hoping to be presenting to cricket coaches across Yorkshire again in the future.

Coming up on 5th March we are delivering an 'injury prevention and management' seminar to Pro-Coach YCCC Elite squad as part of the on-going development of young cricketers. This will be part of their pre-season course and hopefully the young players will take a few ideas away after the seminar which will help keep them out on the pitch playing.

Over the next few weeks we are developing our video analysis area to help with cricket injuries or injury prevention. We are confident that this will be an excellent tool for rehabilitation, correcting dangerous bowling techniques and identifying areas that maybe at risk of injury for both batters and bowlers.

A Free Consultation is available at all our clinics (Batley, Morley & Castleford). Appointments for all clinics can be booked through our main number 07789 223 622 or if you prefer email info@griffithsandhartley.co.uk
